This Privacy Policy describes how OJOS by Verbena Projects ("OJOS," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Verbena Projects LLC, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the OJOS advertising network at ojos.verbenaprojects.com.

OJOS serves two distinct groups: sponsors (advertisers who create accounts and place ads) and site visitors (people who encounter OJOS ads while browsing Verbena Projects network sites). This policy addresses both.

2. Information We Collect — Sponsors

When you apply to become a sponsor or create a sponsor account, we collect:

• Name, email address, and company or brand name
• Account credentials (password stored as a secure one-way hash)
• Ad creative — images, headlines, body copy, and destination URLs
• Content category selected at signup, used to match ads to appropriate audiences
• Billing information — subscription tier and payment history, processed via Stripe
• Communications — messages submitted via the inquiry or contact form

Inquiry form submissions are also captured in our internal contact management system for follow-up communications.

3. Information We Collect — Site Visitors

When OJOS ads are displayed on Verbena Projects network sites, we do not collect personally identifiable information from site visitors. Specifically:

• We do not use persistent cookies to track visitors across sessions or sites
• We do not build behavioral profiles of site visitors
• We do not share visitor data with sponsors or third parties

The OJOS ad delivery script uses your browser's sessionStorage to limit how many ads are shown during a single browsing session. This is temporary data stored only in your browser's memory and deleted automatically when you close the tab. It is never transmitted to our servers and contains no personally identifiable information.

4. How We Use Sponsor Information

• To review and approve ad applications
• To serve approved ads across the Verbena Projects network
• To match ads to appropriate content categories and audiences
• To process subscription billing via Stripe
• To send transactional notifications (account status, billing receipts, ad approvals)
• To enforce our advertiser terms of service
• To respond to inquiries and support requests

We do not sell sponsor data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe (stripe.com/privacy) — Subscription billing for sponsor accounts. Payment card details are processed and stored by Stripe; we do not store raw card data.
• Brevo (brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy) — Transactional email delivery for account notifications and billing emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) — Spam and bot protection on the sponsor inquiry form.
• Google Fonts (policies.google.com/privacy) — Font delivery. Loading Google Fonts may result in your IP address being logged by Google.

6. Data Retention

Sponsor account data is retained for the duration of your sponsorship and for a reasonable period thereafter for billing and compliance records. Ad creative and campaign records may be retained after account closure for internal record-keeping. If you wish to request deletion of your account data, contact us at info@verbenaprojects.com.

Inquiry submissions are retained until you request removal.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect sponsor account data, including bcrypt password hashing and encrypted connections. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

As a sponsor, you may access and update your account information at any time through the sponsor portal. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at info@verbenaprojects.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

OJOS is an advertising platform intended for use by businesses and adult sponsors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

OJOS is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your data will be processed in the United States. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
